Jessica Mathews is a SAG/AFTRA Award Winning Actor and Award Winning Producer. Jessica was born in Florida. She graduated from The University of Florida with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, and Dual Minors in Economics.
Most recently, Jessica played a News Anchor on "Torchwood", on STARZ. You saw her as "The Other Woman" on NBC's "Las Vegas" episode "Hit Me!". She was in "Change Your Life!" starring Tony Plana (Ugly Betty) and directed by Patrick Shen (Flight from Death). Jessica also shot on "Kimberly" (Official Selection Angeleno Film Festival) in which she starred. She was awarded the title of Miss Burbank USA, and competed in the Miss California USA Pageant. She was a Guest Host for "Wild on E!", "Art Mann Presents" on HDNet,and "Street Stars" on PAX.
National commercials include Honda Generators, Donzi Boats, Community Loans of America, ESPN, National City Bank and Country Music Magazine to name a few. Jessica had a Recurring role on a show entitled "Courting Busey" with Gary Busey and a role on the "Roast" episode of "Gene Simmons Family Jewels" with Gene Simmons.
As a Producer, Jessica Mathews is the Co-Owner of Springfield Films. She has written, produced, and directed commercials, television pilots, trailers, music videos, spec commercials and plays. Some of her work as a Producer includes "Bearing Gifts", a television show (currently being pitched); "Screaming MeeMees", a webisode pilot (line producer); "PLAYdate", a feature film trailer; "Savor The Insanity" a comedic short film (Official Selection of the La Femme Festival, Nominated at the Angeleno Film Fest) and "Your VIP Invitation", a reality show based on her company, VIP Invitation, which produces everything from celebrity red carpet charity events to VIP-style parties. Jessica completed the features "Wedding Day" (Executive Producer) and "Holding Back" (Producer and UPM - Nominated). In addition, she recently completed six more Award Winning shorts:

"Man vs. Survival", Written by Matt Brookens and Directed by Greg Brookens, WON at the Atom Tournament Film Festival.
Jessica also produced the short film "I Am Neda", Written and Directed by Nicole Kian-Sadighi, which WON an LA Movie Awards Honorable Mention in the Narrative Short Category. It was also an Official Selection Santa Rosa Int'l Film Festival, ARPA Int'l Film Festival).

Her newest producing projects include "Shoe Fetish" ( short in post-production), "Warehouse" (short recently completed), "Life Is Short" (television pilot in post-production), "PRON" (feature trailer in post), "Lesbian Cops" (feature in production), "Johnny Boy" (short in pre-production) and "Funny Guitar" (short recently completed). She is in pre-production on the features "The Amnesia Motel" and "Trailer Trash".
She has served on pitch panels and on the boards of various film festivals. She is a published writer and is pitching projects to Bravo, The CW, E!, Oxygen and A&E. She loves football and is on the board of the Southern California Gator Club (Go Gators!) for the third year in a row. Jessica is a member of Women In Film, Neo Ensemble Theatre, Women In Theatre, NY Acting Ensemble, the Special Olympics and SAG Book Pals. She is happy to have volunteered for these and many other organizations.
