Jessica was born in Florida. She graduated from The University of Florida with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, and Dual Minors in Economics.
You may remember Jessica playing a News Anchor on "Torchwood", which aired on STARZ. You saw her as "The Other Woman" on NBC's "Las Vegas" episode "Hit Me!". She was in "Change Your Life!" starring Tony Plana (Ugly Betty) and directed by Patrick Shen (Flight from Death). She was awarded the title of Miss Burbank USA, and competed in the Miss California USA Pageant. She was a Guest Host for "Wild on E!", "Art Mann Presents" on HDNet, and "Street Stars" on PAX.
National commercials include Honda Generators, Donzi Boats, Community Loans of America, ESPN, National City Bank and Country Music Magazine to name a few. Jessica had a Recurring role on a show entitled "Courting Busey" with Gary Busey and a role on the "Roast" episode of "Gene Simmons Family Jewels" with Gene Simmons.
Jessica has shot over 50 independent films, been cast in over 30 television roles, spoken at over 200 live events as an on-stage presenter, and performed in over 100 live improv shows. She loves performing both drama and comedy.
As a Producer, Jessica Mathews is the Co-Owner of Springfield Films. She has written, produced, and directed commercials, television pilots, trailers, music videos, spec commercials and plays. For tv networks, she completed “Chef Wanted with Anne Burrell” (Food Network) and is currently a Story Producer on “Atomic Mom” (Lifetime) and a Field Producer on "Uncomfortable Conversations" (A&E). Her list of commercials include Toyota and the LA Lakers (tv/web/in house).
Besides working in television and commercials, Jessica has an extensive award list for indie films. Jessica completed the Award Winning features “Marfa Girl” (UPM), "Holding Back" (Producer and UPM). More features include “Triangle” (Producer) and “Vanished” (Producer). In addition, she produced nine more Award Winning shorts: "Notes on Lying", "Guitar Party Nightmare", "In Silence", “Man vs. Survival”, “The Proposition”, “I Am Neda”, "Pull Down the Moon", "The Big Meet", and "Warehouse".

She has served on pitch panels and on the boards of various film festivals. She is a published writer and is pitching projects to Bravo, The CW, E!, Oxygen and A&E. Jessica is President of Neo Ensemble Theatre, a member of SAG-AFTRA, Women In Film and Women In Theatre. Jessica is hard at work on the features "The Last Treasure Hunt" and "You Can't Have It", both in pre-production and slated to shoot in Spring of 2014.
